Also owned by the National Trust, this ‘50s suburban terraced house is the former home of the McCartney family. This is the place where The Beatles wrote and rehearsed some of their earliest songs. The property has been restored to replicate how it would have looked when the family lived there during the 1950’s and 1960’s

The National Trust looks after two suburban houses in Merseyside, 20 Forthlin Road and Mendips. These unassuming houses are the childhood homes of two Beatles, Sir Paul McCartney and John Lennon.

Visiting the Beatles houses in Liverpool is an absolute must for fans of the band of any ages. The tours provide a real insight in to Lennon and McCartney's humble beginnings. Beatles tours are available from February to November and get booked up quickly.
